Please hold this date and time as we come together to celebrate the results of our 2019 Stewardship Campaign.
Last year during Stewardship we delved into God’s first commandment to “love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbour as yourself”. Luke 10:27 We were reminded that to fulfil this law we needed to have God’s help to set our mind on love. We looked at perspectives and attitudes which might get in the way of our really seeing our neighbour. Finally we took home the message that our neighbour is everywhere.
This year’s focus was on our joy, privilege and opportunity to love our neighbour.
The people of St Paul’s show love for our neighbours in so many different ways already by generously sharing their time, talent and treasure. Going Deeper means rediscovering the joy, understanding the privilege and seizing the opportunities that God has for us to love our neighbour now and into our future.
